Diary:
Day 3: by Daniel Latto and Naomi Goodman
We arrived at 3.35 and had a briefing with webmaster Steve.
This turned into a conversation about the soaps and comedy shows on tv for a while.
We then started interviewing the kids and the tutors about their courses.
The questions were about who made the pots and other objects.
We also asked how tiring it was working with the kids.
During the break two of our team questioned some older boys and Martin knocked over a box of clay pieces - we think he’s a bit accident prone!
Some of the course kids were doing casting while others were painting.
Dana, one of the main tutors, was smelting some pewter for a demonstration.
She poured the hot metal into hand indents in a sand mould and into another mould which was for lost wax casting.
After that we took some pictures of the projects.
